Ok, so its a cheesy title yes. But this week is less about complaining about this, and more about solutioning. I feel that my problem isn't a pure lack of understanding but more about understanding what I don't already understand. Yes. That concept is as confusing as the title, but that is the point. When you study something for a long time it can be hard to know what subjects are things that you truly don't understand and what subjects are things that you need to work on. I started out studying network+ when it was 008 and now it is 009. So... The subjects are slightly different. This means I need to identify information that I need to work on, and information that I don't. That is the goal today. I am looking at https://www.professormesser.com/ and identifying what subjects I feel comfortable with and which ones I don't. Then identifying the notes I need to write based on the information provided on the professor Messer website and cross referencing that information with other sources; books, Udemy, past network+ resources to improve my knowledge base. This will focus my studies, and point me in the right direction again.
So far, I know that I will need to brush up on Subnetting, Binary Math ( I suck at math anyway), Cloud Computing, Regulatory Compliance, and Infrastructure as Code. But this is how I will cast a net on the unknown, and get in the know about networking.
